Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) outlines the standards by which users (“Users”) of the Workstedi platform and services (collectively, the “Services”) must adhere to. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to comply with this Policy. This Policy is designed to protect the integrity, security, and reliability of the Workstedi platform and its marketplace, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all Users.

Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Services for any unlawful or prohibited activities, including, but not limited to:

  • Illegal Activities: Engaging in any activities that violate any laws, regulations, or statutes, including but not limited to fraud, money laundering, and terrorist financing.
  • Intellectual Property Infringement: Uploading, posting, transmitting, or distributing any content that infringes, misappropriates, or violates any intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, patents, or trade secrets.
  • Harmful or Exploitative Content: Creating, sharing, or promoting content that is abusive, harmful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or offensive. This includes content that exploits or harms minors, or encourages violence, self-harm, or any illegal activity.
  • Fraudulent Activities: Engaging in deceptive or fraudulent practices, including impersonating another person or entity, or providing false information to gain access to the Services or conduct transactions within the marketplace.
  • Security Violations: Attempting to interfere with, compromise, or circumvent the integrity or security of the Services, including hacking, spamming, phishing, and distributing malware or viruses.
  • Unlawful Market Transactions: Using the marketplace to sell, buy, or distribute illegal goods or services, counterfeit items, or any goods or services that are prohibited by Workstedi’s policies or applicable law.

 

Marketplace-Specific Restrictions

The following additional restrictions apply to the use of Workstedi’s marketplace:

  • Product Listings: Users must ensure that all products and services listed on the marketplace are accurately described, lawful, and meet Workstedi’s quality standards. Misrepresentation of products or services is strictly prohibited.
  • Fair Competition: Users may not engage in practices that unfairly manipulate the marketplace, including posting fake reviews, manipulating pricing algorithms, or otherwise distorting the marketplace environment to the detriment of other Users.
  • Data Privacy: Users are prohibited from collecting, storing, or using any personal information obtained through the marketplace for any purpose outside the agreed-upon transaction or Workstedi’s platform functionality, without the explicit consent of the data subject.

 

User Responsibilities

All Users of Workstedi are expected to:

  • Comply with All Laws and Policies: Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and Workstedi’s policies, including this Acceptable Use Policy, the Privacy Policy, and the Terms of Service.
  • Maintain Account Security: Keep your account information, including your password, secure and confidential. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account and must immediately report any unauthorized use.
  • Respect Others: Treat all other Users with respect and refrain from any behavior that could be considered abusive, harassing, or discriminatory.

 

 

Enforcement and Consequences

Workstedi reserves the right to monitor, review, and take appropriate action against any User who violates this Policy. Actions may include, but are not limited to:

  • Account Suspension or Termination: Violations of this Policy may result in the suspension or termination of your Workstedi account and access to the Services, without notice or liability.
  • Removal of Content: Workstedi may remove any content or listings that violate this Policy or are otherwise objectionable, at its sole discretion.
  • Legal Action: Workstedi may report any illegal activities to the appropriate authorities and cooperate with law enforcement as required.

 

Reporting Violations

If you believe that any User is violating this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it to Workstedi’s support team via the contact information provided on our website.

 

Changes to this Policy

Workstedi may modify this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised Policy on our website. Your continued use of the Services after the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
